Embedded Systems Engineer

Description

Mid-level embedded systems engineer with experience working with custom hardware and firmware. Must be highly productive and able to get work done both independently and in collaboration with other engineers. Adaptable to changing priorities and requirements as is typical of a startup environment. Must be available to work at Radius Networks Georgetown, Washington DC, location.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years paid work experience
  • 2+ years experience developing custom embedded solutions
  • Solid digital design experience, including micro controllers, serial communication modules, and power management circuits
  • Solid experience developing firmware using C, assembly language or other low-level programming tools
  • Solid experience working in embedded Linux environments
  • Experience building rapid prototypes
  • Experience converting prototypes into designs for mass production

Bonus Points

We don’t expect you to know all of these things, but relevant experience is a great bonus.

  • Experience with crypto modules
  • Bluetooth experience
  • Working understanding of Linux systems
  • Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Previous work on Internet of Things applications
